Job Description
The role involves conducting structured after-sales visits, delivering product usage training, supporting customers with syncing, fuel ordering, and repayment compliance. The officer will also be responsible for addressing customer feedback, providing preventative maintenance guidance, and supporting customer self-service initiatives. This role requires strong relationship-building skills, frequent field travel, and collaboration with call center agents and adoption coordinators to ensure a seamless customer journey.
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
Conduct post-sale customer visits to onboard clients and provide product training.
Collaborate with call center agents and adoption coordinators to schedule visits.
Ensure customers understand product usage, credit obligations, and fuel ordering.
Support repayment compliance through weekly payment follow-ups.
Provide guidance on preventative maintenance (e.g., fan clog, stove cooling, battery charging).
Collect customer feedback and conduct satisfaction scoring.
Facilitate customer self-service for syncing, fueling, and payments.
Track customer product usage and fuel needs, ensuring timely reordering.
Distribute credit journey cards/flyers to reinforce repayment timelines.
Report field challenges and propose solutions to management.
Perform any other tasks assigned by management.
Qualifications, Education and Competencies
Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field.
Minimum 1 year of sales experience (preferably in telecom, energy, FMCG, or consumer goods).
Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
Ability to work independently in the field and meet targets.
Comfortable with frequent travel within Kwale, Kilifi, and Mombasa.
Proficiency in English and Kiswahili (knowledge of local dialects is an advantage).
Excellent conflict resolution, problem-solving, and customer service skills.
