Corporate Partnerships & Business Development Officer

The Corporate Partnerships and Business Development Officer builds corporate partnerships and sponsorships for Mindbus Health Support Uganda, promoting corporate mental health and wellness programmes and mobilising revenue through institutional engagements and events.

Duties, Roles and Responsibilities

Identify and secure corporate partnerships and sponsorships
Promote corporate mental health and wellness programmes
Mobilise revenue through institutional engagements, events and podcast sponsorships
Develop business proposals and negotiate partnerships
Build and maintain strategic client relationships
Meet agreed revenue and partnership targets

Qualifications, Education and Competencies

Qualifications & Experience:

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications or a related field
Proven experience in business development, corporate sales or partnership management

Skills & Competencies:

Strong networking, negotiation and proposal-writing skills
Results-driven, self-motivated and commercially oriented
Experience in NGO, media or events partnerships is an added advantage

Mindbus Health Support Uganda (MHSU) is a youth led mental health NGO that was registered in Dec 2022 to create mental health awareness and offer affordable mental health support to the vulnerable communities in Uganda, with a goal to build better lives, and a major focus on reducing stigma related to mental health. Our core methodology is the use of Art therapy; e.g. play, arts/imagery, music, dance, drama and fireplace sessions as a way of employing entertaining, creative and artistic methods of creating awareness amongst adolescents and youths.
