TMT Supermarket is hiring Cooks responsible for preparing staff meals at its Kampala operations, ensuring staff are well-nourished.

Duties, Roles and Responsibilities

Prepare nutritious staff meals on schedule in a clean and hygienic kitchen environment.
Plan daily menus and manage food portions to minimize waste.
Maintain kitchen cleanliness, food safety and hygiene standards at all times.
Manage kitchen supplies and flag stock needs.
Adhere to food safety regulations and store policies.

Qualifications, Education and Competencies

Qualifications & Experience:

Minimum of O-Level Certificate (UCE) or equivalent for operational roles; Diploma or relevant qualification for supervisors and data entrants.
Prior experience in retail, supermarket floor operations or customer service is a strong advantage.

Skills & Competencies:

High level of integrity, good communication skills and teamwork.
Readiness to work flexible retail shifts (8 work hours).
