Job Description
Lake Victoria Logistics (LVL) is seeking a professional, experienced, and highly dedicated individual to join our team for the following position:
Job Overview
The Control Room Officer will be responsible for monitoring, operating, and supporting terminal control systems to ensure safe, efficient, and reliable operations. The successful candidate will work closely with operations and engineering teams to maintain system integrity, oversee real-time processes, and respond to operational issues within the terminal environment.
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
- Monitor and operate control room systems and instrumentation to ensure smooth terminal operations.
- Supervise and track operational processes in oil terminal or depot environments.
- Manage alarms, system alerts, and operational data in real time.
- Coordinate with field operators, engineering teams, and management to resolve operational issues.
- Ensure compliance with safety, operational, and regulatory standards.
- Maintain accurate operational records, logs, and system reports.
- Support troubleshooting and maintenance of automation and control systems, including Honeywell systems where applicable.
