Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
- Support design and delivery of the teacher-training component of the peace curriculum.
- Work with the ulema network, MoECHE and MEISA on curriculum alignment.
- Apply UNESCO's Transformative Pedagogy for Peacebuilding and UNICEF safeguarding expertise.
- Coordinate training roll-out in traditional and integrated Quranic schools.
- Monitor and report on delivery, including inclusive teaching and safeguarding standards.
Qualifications, Education and Competencies
Qualifications & Experience:
- Advanced degree in education, peacebuilding, curriculum development or a related field.
- Experience designing or delivering teacher training in conflict-affected or fragile settings.
Skills & Competencies:
- Curriculum and training material development.
- Coordination with ministries and religious institutions.
- Strong reporting and stakeholder engagement skills.
