Elite Jobs Rwanda is recruiting a skilled, experienced and passionate Chef on behalf of a confidential hospitality client in Kabuga, Gasabo, Kigali, to manage the kitchen, supervise staff, plan menus and ensure food quality and cost control. Salary RWF 100,000 - 120,000.

Duties, Roles and Responsibilities

Manage and supervise all daily kitchen operations
Plan, develop and update menus according to customer preferences and business needs
Prepare and oversee the preparation of high-quality dishes
Supervise, train and motivate kitchen staff
Assign duties and organize kitchen work schedules
Ensure food quality, taste, presentation and consistency
Monitor food costs, portion sizes and kitchen expenses
Manage food inventory and stock levels

Qualifications, Education and Competencies

Qualifications & Experience:

Proven experience as a Chef or in a senior kitchen position

Skills & Competencies:

Excellent cooking and food preparation skills
Strong leadership and team management
Menu planning and food presentation
Food cost control and budget management
Knowledge of food hygiene and safety standards
Inventory and stock management
