Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
- Receive payments in cash, mobile money and card and issue receipts.
- Reconcile the till at the end of each shift and report any variance.
- Handle customer queries on bills politely and accurately.
- Record daily sales and hand over collections as required.
- Keep the till area organised and secure.
Qualifications, Education and Competencies
Qualifications & Experience:
- Certificate, diploma or degree in accounting, business or a related field is an added advantage.
- Experience handling cash or a point of sale system.
Skills & Competencies:
- Accuracy with numbers and cash.
- Honesty and integrity.
- Customer care.
- Comfort with POS or till systems.
