Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
- Process sales transactions accurately using the POS system (cash, card and mobile payments)
- Restock merchandise and ensure displays are well-organized and visually appealing
- Monitor inventory levels and notify the supervisor when stock is low
- Greet and assist customers in a professional and friendly manner
- Ensure all products are properly priced and labelled and maintain cleanliness and organization within the store
- Assist with receiving, unpacking and arranging new stock deliveries
- Support ongoing promotions and sales activities and provide accurate product information to customers
- Adhere to store policies on cash handling and inventory management and prepare weekly and monthly sales and inventory reports
- Support the warehouse team in campus supply distribution and campus operations in class set-up
Qualifications, Education and Competencies
Qualifications & Experience:
- Fresh undergraduate (Bachelor's degree)
Skills & Competencies:
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong customer service orientation
- Basic numerical skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Strong digital literacy on desktop and mobile; knowledge of Microsoft Suite or Google Workspace
- Good knowledge of Excel or POS systems is an added advantage
- High level of integrity and responsibility when handling cash and stock
