Nairobi Academy is hiring a Business Studies & Management Teacher to deliver IGCSE and A-Level instruction, prepare lesson plans, and assess student academic progress, across international school operations in Nairobi. The position is based in Nairobi.

Duties, Roles and Responsibilities

Delivering high-quality Business Studies and Business Management lessons under the British Curriculum.
Preparing comprehensive schemes of work, lesson plans, and instructional learning materials.
Assessing, marking, and providing constructive feedback on student coursework and examinations.
Preparing students for IGCSE and A-Level international examinations in business subjects.
Maintaining accurate academic records, attendance logs, and student progress reports.
Participating in parent-teacher conferences to discuss student academic performance.
Engaging in extra-curricular school activities, clubs, and educational field trips.
Contributing to departmental meetings and curriculum development initiatives.

Qualifications, Education and Competencies

Qualifications & Experience:

Bachelor's degree in Education (B.Ed) with a specialization in Business Studies or Economics.
Active registration with the Teachers Service Commission (TSC) of Kenya.
Minimum of three (3) years of teaching experience delivering the British National Curriculum (IGCSE/A-Level).
Demonstrated track record of preparing students for successful Cambridge or Edexcel examinations.

Skills & Competencies:

In-depth mastery of IGCSE and A-Level Business Studies and Management syllabi.
Strong classroom management, student engagement, and instructional techniques.
Proficiency in integrating educational technology and e-learning platforms in teaching.
Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
High dedication to holistic student development and academic excellence.
