Business Facilitator (4 Positions)

• Conduct sensitization meetings to achieve community understanding, engagement, and mindset change
• Identify, mobilize, and register youth and Self-Help Groups (SHGs) in target value chains
• Support formation and strengthening of SHGs and Agri-hubs with technical business management training
• Identify viable agribusiness opportunities for youth (on-farm and off-farm)
• Facilitate formation and development of profitable and self-sustaining youth-led Agri-hubs
• Support linkages and partnerships with off-takers, input providers, and financial service providers
• Support training of front-line teams on project activities suited to youth and women's needs
• Promote adoption of good agricultural practices (GAPs) and climate-smart technologies
• Support formation of Informal Saving and Lending Associations (ISLAs) and linkages to SACCOs/MFIs
• Oversee contract management for district front-line teams and lead budgeting for district activities

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor's Degree in Agriculture Economics, Business Administration, Rural Development, Food Security, Microfinance Enterprise Development, or a related field
• 3 years' field and technical experience in agribusiness development, economic growth/trade, value chain competitiveness, or agriculture development
• Experience working with youth and young women groups, and knowledge of community-level microfinance
• Knowledge of the local context in cluster districts (e.g., Busoga sub-region)
• Valid motorcycle riding license required
