Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
- Own branch performance by knowing targets and driving the team to hit them consistently.
- Lead, develop and hold the team accountable, coaching daily and setting clear standards.
- Approve loans in line with credit guidelines accurately and efficiently.
- Own branch collections, following up overdue accounts with urgency.
- Onboard and induct new team members before they face clients.
- Maintain high standards in cash handling, compliance, credit processes and branch administration.
- Resolve escalated client complaints quickly and with dignity.
- Report branch performance honestly and flag problems early.
- Build a branch culture people want to be part of.
Qualifications, Education and Competencies
Qualifications & Experience:
- Degree in Banking, Finance, Business Administration, Marketing or a related commercial field is advantageous.
- 3 to 5 years of experience in a customer-facing environment.
- At least 1 year of experience leading or supervising a team.
- Proven track record of hitting targets consistently.
- Good understanding of credit, lending processes and basic financial concepts.
