Job Description
REPORTING TO: Group Head of Operations
Purpose of Position:
Reporting to the Group Head of Operations, this role is responsible for the overall management, supervision, and control of operational activities within the branch, ensuring customer expectations are met without exposing the bank to risk. The role involves continuous monitoring of performance standards, ensuring seamless operations and customer service, and reviewing processes, controls, and policies to optimize efficiency.
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
Implement the bank's service strategy at the branch level.
Coordinate front and back office activities to provide effective service to both internal and external clients.
Manage risks and internal controls impacting the branch, ensuring necessary measures are in place to monitor and control these risks.
Oversee customer service levels in the branch, ensuring they meet the bank’s standards.
Maximize bank fees and deposits in alignment with the bank’s strategy.
Lead the development and management of branch staff.
Oversee administrative activities within the branch.
Implement audit recommendations.

Qualifications, Education and Competencies
A university degree in Business Administration, Finance, Commerce, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in banking operations, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
Strong communication and negotiation skills.
Leadership and management abilities.
Excellent problem-solving, analytical, attention to detail, decision-making, and teamwork skills.
