• Plan and deliver lessons in the assigned subject following the school curriculum.
• Prepare schemes of work, lesson plans and assessment records.
• Assess learners using competency based assessment and prepare progress reports.
• Maintain classroom discipline and a safe, supportive learning environment.
• Prepare learners for internal and external examinations and competitions.
• Participate in co-curricular activities, school events and departmental meetings.
• Communicate with parents and guardians on learner progress.
• Maintain professional teaching records and uphold school policies.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Registered with the Teachers Service Commission (TSC).
• A teaching degree in Education, specialising in Biology and Chemistry.
• At least three (3) years experience in a Cambridge international school.
• Proven experience teaching Cambridge Lower Secondary (KS3) Science and IGCSE Biology (0610) and Chemistry (0620).
