Bar Supervisor

The Bar Supervisor oversees daily bar operations at DSTRKT24 Kampala, leading bar staff, controlling stock and keeping service standards high throughout operating hours.

Duties, Roles and Responsibilities

Supervise bar staff across shifts and allocate duties for smooth 24/7 service
Ensure drinks are prepared and served to the outlet's recipe and quality standards
Manage bar stock, requisitions and stock counts, and control wastage and breakages
Handle customer orders, complaints and escalations promptly and professionally
Enforce hygiene, safety and responsible-service rules at the bar
Train and coach bar attendants on service standards and upselling
Prepare shift reports on sales, stock and incidents for management

Qualifications, Education and Competencies

Experience in bar or beverage service, with supervisory responsibility preferred
Strong knowledge of cocktails, spirits and bar service standards
Good stock control and cash handling skills
Ability to lead and motivate a shift team
Flexibility to work nights, weekends and public holidays
Good communication and customer service skills
