• Own day-to-day engagement with district stakeholders across assigned areas of operation.
• Build constructive relationships with district political leaders, technical offices, subcounty and parish officials and community leaders.
• Explain GiveDirectly's programme objectives, eligibility and targeting approach accurately.
• Support field teams to plan and deliver inclusive community barazas.
• Maintain a district stakeholder register and practical engagement plans and track agreed actions.
• Represent GiveDirectly at routine district and community meetings and refer sensitive matters upward.
• Share consistent programme updates and relay stakeholder questions and recommendations.
• Monitor community acceptance, emerging tensions and external relations risks and recommend mitigations.
• Escalate security, legal, safeguarding or reputational concerns promptly.
• Provide monthly reports on engagement, community acceptance, commitments and risks.
• Maintain accurate records following data protection requirements.
• Support district compliance with NGO Bureau and Government of Uganda requirements.

Qualifications & Experience:

• University degree in a relevant field.
• Experience implementing engagement plans and coordinating work across teams.
• Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with government, community or civil society stakeholders.
• Experience in the development or NGO sector is an advantage.
• Fluency in English; local Ugandan languages are an advantage.
