Assistant Security and Investigations Officer

1. Conduct and implement security audits and inspections to identify and seal off vulnerabilities that could lead to criminal activity.

2. Assist in conducting surveillance to detect potential threats, fraud, sabotage, or malicious activities, and promptly report findings to the supervisor.

3. Investigate incidents involving national security risks, including drugs, explosives, and chemicals, in coordination with the police and other intelligence agencies.

4. Gather, update, and communicate security-related intelligence to support operational safety.

5. Prepare regular security reports covering surveillance findings and broader national security observations.

6. Assist in collecting and organizing evidence relevant to internal and external investigations.

7. Support the Investigation Team in conducting interviews, obtaining search warrants, and executing related investigative duties as assigned.

Key Performance Indicators

• Regular submission of security audit reports

• Development and implementation of a comprehensive security plan

• Timely and accurate surveillance reports

Minimum Qualifications

• Diploma in Law, Business Administration, or Management from a recognized institution.

Experience

• At least two (2) years of experience in a similar security or investigations role.

• Additional training in special investigation techniques or general security is an added advantage.
