The Assistant Labourer supports workshop activities at the Kingfisher field, assisting mechanical technicians with cleaning, maintenance preparation, material handling and general duties under supervision.

Duties, Roles and Responsibilities

Assist mechanical technicians with cleaning, maintenance preparation and material handling.
Identify and safely handle common hand tools.
Lift, carry and handle materials as required.
Observe HSE requirements and use personal protective equipment.
Follow instructions from supervisors.

Qualifications, Education and Competencies

Qualifications & Experience:

Certificate, diploma or bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
Basic education; mechanical or technical training is an added advantage.
0 to 1 year of experience; previous industrial or oil and gas exposure is an advantage.

Skills & Competencies:

Basic knowledge of mechanical tools, equipment and workshop activities.
Physically fit and able to lift, carry and handle materials.
Knowledge of HSE requirements and PPE usage.
Teamwork, discipline and willingness to learn.
Ability to follow instructions in English.
