Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
- Pricing Tenders and Quotation Requests
- Analyze tender documents and client requirements to prepare competitive pricing proposals.
- Develop cost estimates for materials, labor, and overheads based on project specifications.
- Ensure pricing aligns with company standards and profitability targets.
- Review and revise bids based on updated client requirements or internal feedback.
- Ensure all revisions are documented and communicated to relevant stakeholders promptly.
- Price Discovery & Market Research
- Conduct market research to identify current pricing trends for materials and services.
- Document price data and upload it to the estimator team’s platform for reference.
- Maintain updated supplier and vendor price lists for accurate cost estimation.
Qualifications, Education and Competencies
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in tendering, estimation, or commercial operations within engineering/construction.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and CRM platforms.
- Key Skills & Competencies
- Strong analytical and numerical skills for cost estimation.
- Proficiency in tender documentation and technical compliance.
- Familiarity with CRM systems and data management.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in pricing and documentation.
