Apprentice - Tour Guide (10 Positions)

• Undergo one year of on-the-job training in tour guiding along the tourism value chain
• Learn visitor handling, tour briefing and interpretation of Uganda's tourism and heritage sites
• Support guided tours, visitor safety and customer care at assigned sites
• Maintain professional conduct and accurate tour records
• Work towards the UVTAB Level II Certificate assessment requirements
• Participate in work readiness and employability skills training under the apprenticeship framework

Qualifications & Experience:

• Must hold a Degree, Diploma or Certificate in Tourism, Leisure or Hospitality from a recognised university or institution
• Must have completed studies between 2022 and 2026 and be unemployed
• No prior work experience required
