The Role
We are looking for a dynamic and proactive Accounts & Finance Assistant to join our new fast growing team in Uganda. The role would best suit an all-rounder that is able to juggle a variety of different tasks from bookkeeping, financial management to strategy formulation.
Accounting/Bookkeeping
Daily reconciliations of entity transactions
FixedAsset Management
Manage creditors and bill payments.
Taxation
Liaise with Uganda Revenue Authority where required.
Financial Operations
Managing Bank Relationships
Operation Accounting
Other
Assist the Finance Manager & Accountant
Advise the management team on spending decisions.
Contribute to making Unifi a fun place to work

An associate’s or bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or business administration is preferred.
Professional certifications such as Certified Bookkeeper or QuickBooks certification can be advantageous
