Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate books of account and financial records for the portfolio businesses
- Prepare monthly management accounts, reconciliations and financial reports
- Support budgeting, cash flow planning and expenditure tracking
- Prepare and file statutory returns, including tax and NSSF obligations
- Support audits, grant reporting and donor financial requirements
- Manage accounts payable and receivable and support procurement documentation
Qualifications, Education and Competencies
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field
- Professional qualification such as CPA or ACCA is an added advantage
- Practical experience in bookkeeping, financial reporting and tax compliance
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
- High integrity, attention to detail and ability to manage multiple business entities
- Strong communication and organisational skills
