Accountant

• Maintain accurate and complete accounting records in line with company policies and applicable accounting standards.
• Support preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports.
• Ensure timely and accurate external financial reporting and statutory submissions.
• Support tax compliance, including preparation and filing of relevant tax returns.
• Participate in budgeting, forecasting, and cost control processes.
• Support financial analysis and reporting for management decision-making.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls, financial policies, and procedures.
• Work closely with other departments to support efficient financial operations.
• Utilize and support financial reporting through ERP systems.

Academic and Professional Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or a related field (mandatory).

• Professional accounting qualification such as CPA, ACCA, or CIMA is required for Senior Accountant positions.

• Junior Accountants should be newly qualified or actively pursuing a professional accounting qualification.

Experience

• Relevant experience in accounting, finance, or financial control within the manufacturing industry is required.

• Minimum 8 years’ experience for Senior Accountants.

• Minimum 5 years’ experience for Junior Accountants.

• Strong working knowledge of financial ERP systems, particularly NetSuite or Oracle, is essential.
