The Accountant will ensure the implementation, management and improvement of a high-quality accounting system and processes at the WOB country office.

Duties and Responsibilities
Financial Record Keeping: Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with regulations and standards.
Preparing Financial Statements: Create balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
Budgeting and Forecasting: Assist in creating budgets and financial forecasts.
Tax Preparation: Prepare and file tax returns, ensuring compliance with tax laws.
Auditing: Conduct internal audits to assess financial operations and accuracy.
Advisory: Provide financial advice and guidance to clients or management on financial decisions.
Reconciliation: Reconcile accounts and resolve discrepancies.
Reporting: Generate financial reports for stakeholders, including management and external parties.
Compliance: Ensure adherence to financial regulations, accounting standards, and internal policies.
System Management: Utilize accounting software and systems to manage financial data.

Qualifications and Competencies
