How to Apply
Responsibilities:
Maintain accurate financial records and prepare financial reports for the pharmacy.
Manage accounts payable and receivable, including reconciliation.
Oversee payroll processing and ensure compliance with tax regulations.
Conduct inventory and stock management for the pharmacy.
Handle reconciliation of sales and purchase entries on accounting software such as Tally and Efris.
Support annual audits and assist in financial forecasting and budgeting.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Proven experience as an accountant in a pharmacy setting is a must.
Proficiency in accounting software, including Tally and Efris.
Strong knowledge of financial principles, including tax laws and regulations applicable in Uganda.
Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple responsibilities.
Certified Public Accountant (CPA) qualification is an added advantage.
