• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements.
• Reconcile bank statements, accounts payable and receivable and intercompany transactions.
• Monitor expenses, budgets and cost control measures to improve profitability.
• Ensure compliance with Ugandan tax laws on PAYE, VAT, WHT and corporate tax and file returns on time.
• Liaise with auditors, tax authorities and regulatory bodies.
• Track production costs, raw material usage and inventory valuation.
• Analyse manufacturing expenses and recommend cost saving measures.
• Process payroll and statutory remittances including NSSF and PAYE.
• Verify supplier invoices, process payments and maintain vendor relationships.
• Support internal and external audits with documentation.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• Professional certification such as ACCA or CPA is an added advantage.
• About three years of accounting experience, ideally in a manufacturing environment.
• Working knowledge of Ugandan tax compliance including PAYE, VAT, WHT and corporate tax.
