Job Description
Café Africa Uganda (CAU) and the International Women’s Coffee Alliance (ICA) Uganda Chapter are seeking qualified and passionate individuals to support the implementation of the Empowering Young Women Entrepreneurs in Agriculture Stimulated by Coffee (EYE-C) programme.
Positions under Café Africa Uganda (CAU)
Locations: Kampala and various coffee-growing districts in Uganda
Value Addition & Marketing Officer (3 Positions)
Role Summary:
Promote agro-processing, product development, and market access for women-led agri-enterprises, particularly in coffee and related crops.
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
Identify and support value addition opportunities in coffee.
Facilitate market linkages and business development services for youth.
Organize training in product branding, packaging, and quality control.
Promote certification and compliance with national and international standards.
Qualifications, Education and Competencies
Bachelor’s in Agribusiness, Food Science & Technology, Marketing, or related field.
Training in value chain development or Q-grader certification is a plus.
3+ years of experience in agricultural marketing or processing.

Note: While most roles will involve in-person engagement at either Kampala or designated coffee-growing districts, provisions for remote or hybrid work arrangements may be considered, depending on the nature of the role and candidate suitability. Therefore, candidates should demonstrate flexibility and a willingness to work remotely when required, including use of virtual collaboration tools and adherence to remote working protocols
