Job Description
Job Title: Geosciences Intern (2 No Experience Jobs)
Organisation: TotalEnergies
Duty Station: Kampala, Uganda
The main role will be to provide additional support to the TEPU teams in the different departments in implementing the different activities/programs. The Intern will also be required to work closely with various teams who will act as mentors to help them acquire the necessary knowledge and skills relevant for the oil and gas sector. The Intern will be based in the Kampala office of TEPU. The Intern directly reports to the HoD who may delegate his or her supervisor authority to another person but remains with overall accountability.

Total Energies EP Uganda is looking at offering internship to university students in currently in the 2nd or 3rd year of study and would require a work placement as part of their course of study.

Internship opportunities are available in the following areas.
Selection criteria
Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in Geomatics/ Surveying/ Petroleum Geosciences/ Environmental/ Civil Engineering / Petroleum Engineering
Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree program from recognized National Universities
Must provide Introduction letter from university and copy of student I.D
Current academic scores must reflect a potential minimum of an upper second degree.
Must provide a partial transcript / copy of academic scores to-date.
Must be available full time for the duration of the internship period.
Excellent verbal & numeracy skills and problem-solving ability
Good communication skills and positive attitude
Must write and submit an internship application letter.
Duration of internship: Minimum 10 weeks from June 2025
Note: Only University Students are eligible
