How to Apply
Under the supervision of the Transport and Logistics Officer, the Driver will:
Provide transportation services for staff and other assignments as directed.
Deliver mail, packages, and official documents as required.
Keep the assigned vehicle clean, polished, and in proper working condition.
Perform routine checks and maintenance on the vehicle to ensure roadworthiness.
Maintain accurate and timely records in the vehicle logbook.
Ensure proper custody of the vehicle and its accessories (jack, spare tire, wheel spanner, keys, etc.).
Park the vehicle only at designated places, unless otherwise authorized.
Comply with NEMA's vehicle and equipment usage policy.
Perform any other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Qualifications:
Must possess a minimum of the Uganda Certificate of Education (UCE).
Experience:
At least three (3) years of driving experience.
Minimum of two (2) years in a similar position within a reputable organization.
Licensing & Certifications:
Valid driving license with at least two classes: CH, DH, DM, or E.
Certificate in Defensive Driving or Basic Mechanics.
Certification from the Chief Government Mechanical Engineer is required.
Key Competencies and Skills:
Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Good reporting and record-keeping ability.
Punctual and time-conscious.
High level of integrity and ethical conduct.
