JOB PURPOSE: Responsible for the conceptual design, development, and implementation of internal IT solutions and development projects at UNOC.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
Justify and coordinate ICT projects as assigned.
Serve as the technical lead for the design, development, and implementation of new projects, applications, and modifications to existing computer systems and software packages.
Assist in the preparation of financial budgets and present proposals for capital ICT projects.
Support the preparation of IT equipment and software specifications, including preparing requisitions for approval by the Projects Manager.
Collaborate with End Users to ensure their involvement in project definition and usage, including participation in concept proofing before the rollout of new software.
Provide technical guidance to IT Project Teams during software development and integrations, ensuring that new software and hardware are fully integrated into the existing IT architecture.
Perform any other duties and responsibilities as may be assigned by the supervisor(s).
Qualifications, Education and Competencies
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:
A Bachelor's degree (Hons) in ICT or a related field.
Project Management Certification (e.g., PRINCE2 or PMP) with at least 3 years of practical experience.
Certification in one or more programming languages.
A minimum of six (6) years of experience in Information Technology, including at least three (3) years in Software Development and/or IT Project Management.
Proven experience in software development, systems automation, robotics, and artificial intelligence.
Demonstrated experience in designing, implementing, and managing Microsoft 365 technologies.
Expertise in developing and utilizing computer systems and quantitative modeling techniques to solve business problems and support decision-making.
Experience with modern methodologies such as Agile, Waterfall, and programming languages like JavaScript, HTML/CSS, SQL, and Python.
SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES:
Strong Project Management skills.
Expertise in Software Development/Programming.
Proficiency in ICT Systems Automation.
Strong Team Leadership abilities.
Knowledge of ITIL practices.
Excellent Stakeholder Management skills.
In-depth knowledge of Microsoft 365 technologies.
Familiarity with the Microsoft Power Platform.
Results-driven with critical thinking abilities.
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
Advanced problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically and logically.
