Ensure cleanliness, organization, and safety in the laboratory environment, including maintaining equipment and supplies.

She/he will develop and implement a preventive strategy for VMMC that decreases men’s risk of acquiring HIV and increases VMMC coverage.

The Back-up Hub Rider will be called-up to support transportation of laboratory specimens and test results from and to designated health facilities served by the project supported Laboratory hubs as and when required.

She/he will be the project’s liaison person in one of the 12 supported districts and Jinja City within the East central region.

As part of the finance team, the accountant is responsible for ensuring that the transaction postings in the finance system as per the GAAP, bank and mobile money are performed on time and monthly budget variance reports are prepared according to approved advance requests.

He/she will also oversee the cluster and district-based finance and administration functions of the USAID’s Local Partner Health Services East Central Project; and manage relationships with partners and respective districts in East Central Uganda.

As part of the finance team, the Finance Officer is responsible for assisting in implementing the overall accounting and financial control systems for the project.

Under the supervision of the Director, Finance and Operations; provide technical oversight to the financial and project operations; ensure financial effective management by providing accounting, administrative, financial management and logistical support to ensure smooth operation and implementation of project activities.

Support the respective district health teams in strengthening capacity of healthcare facility teams to improve quality of HIV and TB services through onsite trainings, support supervision, clinical and QI mentoring/coaching.

To support the Internal Auditor in overseeing risk assessments and mitigations across all MJAP and support functions
