Private Sector Foundation Uganda (PSPU) in partnership with Energising Development (EnDev), with funding from the Netherlands Directorate General for International Cooperation, (DGIS), is implementing the Demand Side Results Based Financing (DSRBF) project aimed at increasing energy access through bridging the affordability gap for clean cooking technologies and off- grid solar products in underserved refugee communities and their host communities in Northem Uganda and Kiryandongo.

The Demand Side RBF shall offer incentives to private sector companies and other entities to trigger a mandatory price reduction equivalent to a set affordability gap only within targeted project locations. The subsidy shall be indirectly transfered to the end-user as a discounted price through companies that will be selected through a competitive tender process).
