Tender Description:
A state-owned enterprise in Uganda, invites expressions of interest from qualified firms to participate in the Provision of Medical Insurance for Staff and Their Dependents for one (1) year, renewable once
Scope of Work:
The successful service provider shall be responsible for delivering comprehensive medical insurance coverage for the Company staff and their eligible dependents for a period of one year, renewable once.
The insurance plan must provide a wide range of benefits including outpatient and inpatient care, emergency services, specialist consultations, maternity care, dental and optical services, chronic illness management, and any other essential health services as stipulated in the bidding document.
The provider will be required to maintain an extensive and reliable network of accredited healthcare facilities nationwide, ensure efficient claims processing, offer 24/7 customer support, and guarantee high service standards, confidentiality, and compliance with all regulatory and contractual requirements.
The insurer shall also provide periodic utilization reports, support wellness initiatives, and ensure timely communication to facilitate smooth service delivery for all beneficiaries.
