A Government Owned Entity in Uganda, invites expressions of interest from qualified firms to participate in the Construction of Water Supply and Sanitation Systems for Alangi and Zeu Rural Growth Centres in Zombo District
Scope of Work:
The scope of work involves the construction of piped water supply and sanitation systems for the Alangi and Zeu Rural Growth Centres (RGCs) in Zombo District under the Water and Sanitation Development Facility – North.
The works shall include but are not limited to site preparation, drilling and development of production boreholes, construction of reinforced concrete water reservoirs, installation of transmission and distribution pipelines, construction of pump houses and valve chambers, supply and installation of electromechanical equipment, and connection of water points including public stand taps and institutional connections.
In addition, the contractor shall construct appropriate sanitation facilities such as public latrines and ensure proper drainage and environmental safeguards in accordance with the approved designs, technical specifications, and environmental management plans.
The contractor shall provide all necessary materials, equipment, labor, and supervision to deliver fully functional and tested water supply and sanitation systems within the stipulated contract period and quality standards set by the Ministry.
