Tender Description:
A Government Owned Entity in Uganda, invites expressions of interest from qualified firms to participate in the Construction of WASH and School Infrastructure Facilities in Selected Schools in Northern Uganda
Scope of Work:
The scope of work includes the construction and upgrading of Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene (WASH) facilities and related infrastructure in selected primary schools across Lamwo, Omoro, Pakwach, and Nebbi Districts in Northern Uganda.
The works shall cover the construction of gender-sensitive latrine blocks, handwashing stations, water supply systems, and drainage structures, as well as the rehabilitation of existing WASH infrastructure where required.
Contractors will be responsible for all associated civil works, including site preparation, excavation, installation, masonry, plumbing, finishing, and ensuring full functionality of all WASH components.
The assignment further includes implementing environmentally sustainable and climate-resilient designs, ensuring safety standards during construction, and providing defect liability support as stipulated in the bidding documents.
All works must comply with the technical specifications issued by the Ministry and align with national construction standards and guidelines for WASH facilities in schools.
