A Government Owned Entity in Uganda, invites expressions of interest from qualified firms to participate in the Construction of Drainage Infrastructure in Makindye Ssabagabo Municipality and Mukono District under GKMA-UDP
Scope of Work:
The scope of work involves the construction of drainage infrastructure in Makindye Ssabagabo Municipality and Mukono District under the Greater Kampala Metropolitan Area – Urban Development Program (GKMA-UDP).
For Lot 1, the contractor will undertake Phase I construction of the 3.2 km Kaliddubi Channel, including the installation of box culverts along Entebbe Road at Namasuba Bata-Bata, ensuring proper hydraulic flow, erosion control, and structural stability.
For Lot 2, the contractor will construct Kissakombe Swamp crossings, tertiary drainage channels, and an access road, ensuring efficient stormwater management, durability, and minimal environmental impact.
The contractor will also be responsible for mobilization, site preparation, earthworks, concrete works, quality assurance, safety compliance, and timely completion according to approved designs and specifications provided by the supervising engineer.
