Job Description
As a Trailer Editor & VFX Artist at LIV, you will work closely with the productions team to capture and edit VR gameplay footage into compelling trailers. You’ll utilize your skills in video editing, visual effects, and motion graphics to create captivating mixed reality content. Preference is given to candidates located in Brisbane, Australia, but the role is fully remote and open worldwide.
You’ll also be part of a passionate, globally distributed team, with access to flexible working hours, professional development budgets, mental wellness resources, and company-sponsored events.
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
Edit engaging and polished trailers in collaboration with the productions team
Capture VR gameplay and experiences (first-person, third-person, motion capture, game engine)
Perform VFX compositing for realistic mixed reality content
Design motion graphics, titles, and transitions
Maintain quality and brand standards
(If near Brisbane) Support real-world filming production on set

Qualifications, Education and Competencies
Experience in virtual reality, especially VR video content capture
Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects
Strong storytelling, pacing, and visual design sense
Creative and proactive mindset
Ability to adapt, problem-solve, and handle varied tasks
Bonus skills: experience with Unity or Unreal Engine, real-world camera knowledge, physical performance (e.g., acting, dancing), hardware/software enthusiasm
