Job Description
The Supply Chain Supervisor will be responsible for monitoring staff attendance, overseeing shift operations, enforcing PPE usage, and ensuring compliance with Health and Safety regulations. This includes supervising TES Supervisors, managing training and performance development, maintaining daily reports, overseeing cycle counts, and ensuring correct payroll administration. The position also requires attending planning meetings, providing operational feedback, and driving continuous improvement in warehouse processes.
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
Monitor attendance and leave of all staff.
Ensure compliance with PPE usage and workplace safety standards.
Administer shift planning and forward scheduling.
Supervise and manage TES Supervisors, ensuring performance and succession planning.
Compile and submit daily complement reports to the ADFusion Shift Manager.
Conduct toolbox talks and pre-shift briefings.
Ensure smooth shift operations and resolve queries timeously with ADFusion Shift Manager.
Monitor process compliance and report deviations.
Enforce housekeeping at the end of each shift.
Conduct and verify accurate cycle counts.
Maintain accurate staff records and ensure proper payroll administration.
Monitor clock-in reports, overtime, and incentive schedules.
Provide daily feedback to the client on KPIs, training, and staff performance.
Attend planning meetings with the client and report on operational matters.
Qualifications, Education and Competencies
Qualifications:
Grade 12 certificate (minimum).
Experience:
Minimum 6 months’ experience in a logistics and distribution environment.
Clear understanding of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
Computer literate (MS Office).
Competencies:
Strong organizational and planning skills.
Attention to detail and accuracy.
Effective communication and leadership abilities.
Ability to manage staff performance and resolve conflicts.
Proactive approach to compliance and process improvement.
