Job Description
As a Supply and Demand Planner, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of demand forecasts and supply plans. This includes enriching baseline forecasts with market intelligence, leading the S&OP process, and working cross-functionally with marketing, sales, supply chain, and logistics teams. The role requires continuous analysis of demand patterns, execution of improvement measures, and maintaining optimal inventory levels through effective production planning and coordination with third-party suppliers. Your efforts will directly contribute to improved service levels, reduced waste, and a more agile supply chain operation.
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
Identify and incorporate future market events into demand forecasts.
Enrich statistical forecasts with business insights and product changes.
Lead the local S&OP process, including monthly demand, supply, and executive reviews.
Prepare and manage the final consolidated demand plan.
Propose and implement initiatives to improve forecast accuracy.
Establish communication procedures across departments to share demand insights.
Analyze demand trends and recommend service and quality improvements.
Set demand parameters collaboratively with supply and logistics teams.
Ensure inventory levels meet organizational targets.
Qualifications, Education and Competencies
Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Supply Chain Management, Economics, or a related field.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in demand and supply planning.
Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
Ability to manage cross-functional collaboration.
Familiarity with supply chain software and forecasting tools is an added advantage.
