Job Description

The Store Manager will be in charge of the overall operation of the Gordons Bay store. This includes managing inventory, supervising staff, handling administrative functions, and ensuring the store delivers excellent customer service. The ideal candidate will be sales-driven, highly organized, and possess strong leadership skills to inspire and develop their team on a daily basis. The manager will also oversee visual merchandising and ensure the store’s layout and standards are consistently upheld.

Duties, Roles and Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily store operations and ensure smooth functionality

  • Manage and control store stock and assets

  • Lead, motivate, and train store staff

  • Address and resolve customer queries and complaints

  • Drive daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets

  • Monitor and maintain high levels of customer service

  • Ensure proper store layout and merchandising

  • Maintain store cleanliness, order, and adherence to operational standards

  • Perform administrative tasks and reporting duties related to store performance

Qualifications, Education and Competencies

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Matric or equivalent qualification

Experience:

  • Minimum of 2 years retail management experience (essential)
