Job Description
Work within RBC’s Planning Division and Cervical Cancer Program to implement digital solutions supporting the 90–70–90 WHO targets.
Analyze existing data assets; conduct user/stakeholder requirements gathering; produce functional/technical specifications.
Design and build new modules/systems; maintain and improve OpenMRS and DHIS2 configurations and performance.
Develop, review, and maintain technical and user documentation for MOH/RBC data systems.
Support data quality audits, cleaning, analysis, and dashboard/visualization development for programmatic decision-making.
Ensure data privacy, security, and ethical compliance across deployments.
Provide training and mentorship to facility staff on cervical cancer information platforms and tools.
Troubleshoot complex issues; conduct QA; track and resolve system challenges.
Collaborate with CHAI global teams to deliver integrations/interoperability with national health information systems (e.g., HL7/FHIR).
Contribute to broader digital health workstreams as assigned.

How to Apply
Analyze data resources and system landscapes; gather and document requirements.
Specify, program, and deploy new/modified systems and features.
Configure, maintain, and optimize OpenMRS and DHIS2 for cervical cancer workflows.

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or related field (advanced training/health-related degree is a plus).
Experience: 3+ years in software development; experience with OpenMRS and DHIS2 is a plus.
Technical: Proficiency in Java, Python, C++ or JavaScript; databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB); version control (Git); BI tools (Power BI/Tableau); familiarity with cloud (AWS/Azure/GCP desirable).
Experience building distributed systems, SOA, and integrations; knowledge of HL7/FHIR and health data security best practices.
Strong business/systems analysis, problem-solving, and documentation skills.
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement; able to work independently and in teams in multicultural settings.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines; willingness to travel locally as needed.
