Job Description
To support the hospital management in providing Social and Welfare services to patients and staff of the hospital.
Duties and Responsibilities
To participate in planning, budgeting, coordinating, monitoring and evaluating social work activities in the Hospital
Counsel patients and relatives with social needs.
Offer psycho-social support, social care and emotional therapy to patients.
Liaise with Hospital management in the provision of social services to patients.
Impart coping skills to patients and relative
Participate in research activities.
Manage and account for allocated resources.
Compile and submit reports to the hospital management vii. Carry out home and follow-up visit to patients
Qualifications and Competencies
Person Specifications
Bachelor of Social Work and Social Administration(SWSA)
Level of Education: Bachelor Degree
