Job Description

As the SMB Account Manager for Uber Eats in Kenya, you will be responsible for managing key accounts in the small-to-medium business segment, primarily in the restaurant and retail space. You’ll lead strategy development, foster strong partner relationships, drive business growth, and implement operational improvements. The role requires close collaboration with cross-functional teams, proactive issue resolution, performance monitoring, and effective communication to ensure partners achieve sustainable success on the Uber Eats platform.

You will build business plans with partners, identify growth opportunities, introduce new Uber Eats features (like Ads and Offers), and maintain on-the-ground knowledge of the local market to inform broader strategic direction.

Duties, Roles and Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute account management strategies for Kenya’s restaurant/retail SMB segment.

  • Build and maintain strong, growth-oriented relationships with restaurant and grocery partners.

  • Design and implement scalable processes to drive business performance.

  • Collaborate with Merchant Operations, Marketing, and Community Operations teams.

  • Promote adoption of Uber Eats tools and services (Ads, Promotions, Offers).

  • Analyze partner data to improve partner operations and customer experience.

  • Act as a brand ambassador for Uber Eats, ensuring a high-quality partner journey.

  • Resolve operational issues and support partners through change and platform developments.

  • Use data insights to drive partner success and internal reporting.

  • Foster market-specific insights to enhance Uber Eats' country-level strategies.
