Job Description
Job Title: Transport Assistant (Several Fresher Jobs)
Organisation: Victorious Education Services
Duty Station: Kampala, Uganda
Job Summary: Maintain discipline and accompany learners on the school bus between home and school, attending to learners and parents courteously.
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
Assist in the daily coordination and scheduling of transport services for staff, students, and goods.
Support the maintenance and servicing of vehicles, including basic cleaning and inspection.
Monitor vehicle usage and report any issues, damages, or maintenance needs.
Ensure compliance with traffic rules, safety regulations, and organizational transport policies.
Maintain accurate records of vehicle trips, fuel usage, and service logs.
Support drivers and other transport staff in daily operational tasks.
Assist in planning and executing transport-related activities and logistics.
Help in organizing transportation for events, school trips, or special assignments.
Ensure vehicles are safely loaded and unloaded when carrying goods.
Report any accidents, delays, or transport-related incidents to supervisors promptly.

Qualifications, Education and Competencies
UACE Certificate or its equivalent
Experience working with learners is an added advantage
Good communication and interpersonal skills
