Supervising Security Personnel:
Oversee and manage a team of security officers.
Schedule shifts and ensure proper coverage at all times.
Provide training and guidance to security staff.
Patrol and Monitoring:
Conduct regular patrols to check for any security breaches.
Monitor surveillance systems and alarm systems.
Respond to security incidents and emergencies promptly.
Incident Management:
Investigate security incidents and prepare detailed reports.
Liaise with law enforcement and emergency services when necessary.
Handle disciplinary actions and conflict resolution among staff.
Access Control:
Ensure only authorized personnel enter secured areas.
Oversee the issuance and control of access badges and keys.
Implement and enforce access control policies and procedures.
Policy and Procedure Enforcement:
Develop and enforce security policies and procedures.
Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
Conduct regular security audits and risk assessments.
Emergency Preparedness:
Develop and maintain emergency response plans.
Conduct emergency drills and training for staff.
Coordinate with other departments for comprehensive emergency preparedness.
Customer Service:
Assist and direct visitors and employees.
Address and resolve any security-related concerns or complaints

Educational Background:
High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in criminal justice or a related field is preferred.
Certifications such as Certified Security Supervisor (CSS) or Certified Protection Professional (CPP) are advantageous.
Experience:
Several years of experience in security, law enforcement, or military service.
Previous supervisory or management experience in a security role is often required.
Skills:
Strong leadership and management skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Good analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Proficiency in using security systems and technology.
Physical Requirements:
Good physical condition and the ability to conduct patrols and respond to incidents.
Ability to work in various environmental conditions and potentially deal with physical confrontations.

Ability to remain calm and decisive under pressure.
Licenses and Certifications:
Valid security guard license as required by local regulations.
First aid and CPR certifications are often required.
