Job Description
The Sales Trainee will participate in a structured training program designed to build sales capabilities, product knowledge, and customer relationship management skills. Through close collaboration with experienced sales professionals, the trainee will gain practical exposure to identifying leads, preparing proposals, and engaging with customers. The position also includes administrative duties such as maintaining sales records and assisting in organizing sales documentation.
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
Training and Development:
Participate in training sessions covering sales strategies, product knowledge, CRM, and company policies
Shadow experienced sales professionals to learn on-the-job skills
Sales Activities:
Assist in identifying and qualifying sales leads
Support the preparation of sales presentations, proposals, and contracts
Engage with customers to understand their needs and explain relevant products or services
Help the team in achieving sales goals
Customer Interaction:
Provide excellent customer service and build lasting relationships with clients
Address inquiries, resolve concerns, and gather feedback
Administrative Support:
Maintain accurate sales activity logs and customer records
Organize sales documentation and assist with reporting tasks

Qualifications, Education and Competencies
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field
Experience:
Recent graduate (internship/training experience is an advantage)
Skills:
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Teamwork and collaboration abilities
Basic understanding of sales and customer service concepts
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Attributes:
