Job Description
As a Sales Supervisor, the successful candidate will be responsible for leading in-store execution, driving sales performance, and ensuring exceptional service delivery. The role involves managing customer relationships, supporting promotional campaigns, achieving sales targets, and maintaining store merchandising standards. The supervisor will also use technology to manage performance and collaborate with various stakeholders to ensure operational excellence.
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
Lead and manage day-to-day sales activities in the assigned area
Ensure effective communication of brand and promotional messages
Provide exceptional customer service and resolve client issues
Manage shelf layout and product availability in line with POP standards
Drive and monitor sales performance against targets
Engage with store owners, staff, and other stakeholders to support sales initiatives
Utilize technology tools for sales tracking and reporting
Support the implementation of promotional campaigns
Maintain high standards of merchandising and stock display

Qualifications, Education and Competencies
Diploma or equivalent qualification at NQF Level 5
2–3 years’ sales experience in the FMCG industry
Valid driver’s license (Code 8 or 10)
Strong customer service and communication skills (verbal & written)
Proficient in sales administration and reporting
Good understanding of shelf and inventory management
Self-motivated with excellent organizational skills
Technologically proficient, especially with sales tracking tools
