Job Description
As the Sales Representative for the Education Sector, you will be responsible for introducing S4D’s cloud-based SIMS platform to schools across Ghana. Your role will be to identify and prospect public and private schools, build meaningful relationships with decision-makers, and present compelling demos that demonstrate how SIMS enhances administrative and academic operations. You will maintain detailed CRM records, monitor market trends and competitor offerings, and provide actionable insights to refine the sales strategy. You are expected to be a tech-savvy storyteller with a passion for educational advancement through technology.
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
Identify and engage with public and private schools across Ghana
Generate sales leads through visits, cold calls, referrals, and digital channels
Deliver customized product demos tailored to school needs
Promote SIMS features: student records, finance management, academic performance tracking, internal communication, and analytics
Engage stakeholders such as school heads, IT coordinators, and boards
Position SIMS as a digital transformation solution aligned with school goals
Monitor competitors and education market trends
Record leads and deal progress in CRM
Submit weekly and monthly reports to management
Qualifications, Education and Competencies
Bachelor’s degree in Education, ICT, Business, or related field
Minimum of 3 years of experience in educational technology or SaaS sales
Proven ability to sell to educational institutions
Strong communication and presentation skills
Ability to clearly explain digital platforms to non-technical users
Self-driven and results-oriented
