Job Description
As a Sales Agent for Events, your core responsibilities will revolve around driving mobile sales at promotional events. You will represent the brand at various venues, interacting with customers, educating them about the company’s mobile platform, and ensuring new customer registrations. You’ll need to facilitate promotions and activations in compliance with company regulations and maintain positive public engagement. This role involves significant travel and a strong focus on achieving sales targets.
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
Adhere to the Hollywoodbets dress code and ensure promoters are properly attired.
Plan, coordinate, and attend events to promote the brand.
Engage clients and assist with account or betting queries.
Travel extensively for event activations, both regionally and beyond.
Achieve daily, weekly, and monthly mobile sales targets and increase mobile customer registrations.
Conduct effective product demonstrations and persuade potential customers.
Drive and manage mobile marketing campaigns.
Set up attractive event displays to draw in new and existing customers.
Register new customer accounts and manage FICA documentation.
Ensure prompt submission of FICA documents and images to the relevant department.
Assist customers in placing their first bets via mobile after account creation.
Maintain a clean, organized work area to represent the brand positively.
Manage and safeguard mobile equipment and inventory.
Rotate between branches or stores as required.
Execute any other duties as required by the role.
Qualifications, Education and Competencies
Minimum Qualification: Matric
Experience: 1 – 2 years in events management or sales preferred
Additional Advantage: Valid driver’s license
Strong knowledge of betting markets and products
Excellent communication and listening skills
Sales-driven with the ability to promote products effectively
Creative, results-oriented problem solver
Familiarity with voucher top-up systems and FICA regulations
