The District has total surfaces area of 967 Km2.The district lies on an altitude of 1800 metres above sea level. The district has 8 Sub counties, 4 town councils and 1 municipal Council, 46 parishes and 590 Villages.

Job Description

The Roads Inspector at Ibanda District Service Commission is responsible for overseeing the maintenance and improvement of the road network in the district

Duties and Responsibilities

The Roads Inspector at Ibanda District Service Commission is responsible for overseeing the maintenance and improvement of the road network in the district. Some of the duties of the Roads Inspector include:

Conducting regular inspections of the roads and bridges to assess their condition and identify any defects or damages
Preparing reports and recommendations on the required repairs, upgrades or replacements of the road infrastructure
Supervising and coordinating the work of contractors and staff involved in the road maintenance and construction projects
Ensuring that the road works are carried out in compliance with the quality standards, safety regulations and budget constraints
Liaising with other stakeholders such as local authorities, community leaders, landowners and utility providers to facilitate the smooth implementation of the road projects
Responding to public complaints and inquiries regarding the road issues and providing timely feedback and solutions

Applicants should attach Certified Photocopies of Academic Qualifications (Transcripts Certificates and pass lips, CVs, and three Passport Photographs (Colored) on each form and any other Relevant Documents.
