We currently have an exciting career opportunity for Risk Officer in Jubilee Life Company of Uganda. The position holder will report to the CEO and Regional Head Risk and Compliance and will be based at Head Office in Kampala.

​

Strategy

  • Implement strategic direction for the Risk Function.

  • Stay updated on regulatory developments and industry initiatives.

  • Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies and monitor effectiveness.

  • Establish and maintain risk governance frameworks and policies.


Operational

  • Develop and maintain a risk management strategy.

  • Implement systems for risk identification and analysis.

  • Conduct risk assessments and evaluate controls.

  • Maintain risk registers and track mitigation actions.

  • Review and assess risk management for products.

  • Facilitate risk management training programs.

  • Prepare reports for the Board Audit Committee.


Corporate Governance

  • Ensure compliance with regulations and internal policies.

  • Implement risk management strategies and internal controls.


Leadership & Culture

  • Promote ethical practices and a positive work environment.

  • Collaborate on initiatives for a positive company culture.

  • Provide transformational leadership and set performance targets.
